Yes, I did find an article. It gave me lots of info. I'm still trying to find
out how to do more than what is contained in it. I have enough to do just the
rudimentary act of snagging the path, but I wanted to do more about controlling
the folder view.
Regards,
Bill

Bill-
Didn't you post earlier that you had found an MSDN article? Sorry, don't
have any more ideas.

Thanks. I'm using 2003. The Custom property in the properties box
just gives me an error.
To give you a better idea of what I'm trying to do...
This is an Acc 2003 project management database. One of the project
table fields is the path to the documentation folder (each project
has its own folder in SharePoint). All I really need to do is have a
way for the user to get the general directory where each of the
project folders lives and then navigate to the specific folder thus
capturing the path for future exploration.
It would be like using the common dialog box to browse for a folder,
but being SharePoint, the "path" is really a URL so the common dialog
fails.
Funny thing, though, is if I use the common dialog box and pass the
sharepoint directory, the dialob box opens to the correct path but
shows the actual web "folders" instead of folders as would be seen in
Explorer. But if I select a folder and click OK I get an error
saying "You cannot use an Internet address here. Enter a path that
points to a location on your computer of on the network." I even
tried typing in the path that works in the Win Explorer. Same error!
