I don't like to use this list as a virus announcement list, but....

There is a new virus, found today, which mainly effects users of MicroSoft
Outlook and Outlook Express - what a surprise! All you Mac users are lucky
and don't need to tell us about it. ;-] The virus can also cause problems
if any other e-mail program user opens the attachment.

The virus is called "Goner" and it wipes out your anti-virus programs and
firewalls, sends itself to everyone on your address list, and leaves a
little program on your computer which will allow further access.

If you don't have any anti-virus software running on your PC, save yourself
the time and trouble and get some ASAP.
