Hello,
It's been awhile since I have added anything to the MtnWestRail website but
I have still been working on it even though it is not noticeable yet. :-)
Hopefully by June or July there will be a couple railcams available on the
site. The biggest change will be a move to a new server with FIVE times
the space since I'm starting to max out my current account. This move will
take place in mid-May and may cause some access problems but it won't be
that big a deal.
I recently sent an image to Altamont Press of the first train over the
Moffat route after it was closed by rock slides last Saturday. If you
didn't see the image, it is available at:
http://www.altamontpress.com/news/4-24.html Sometime Sunday I will upload
two larger versions for those who would like to use it as a background screen.
Also, in the next two weeks, I will have the first volume of the
MtnWestRail screen saver available for purchase. I need to work out
accepting credit card payments over the internet and what shipping will
cost because I believe the file is too large to reliably download. This
screen saver contains 70 of my favorite images from roughly the last year
including railroad action from Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Alberta,
and British Columbia in all kinds of weather.
Next weekend, I am headed towards Helper, Utah again and that will
hopefully generate a few more webpages of interesting stuff.
Hope you are having a good weekend, thanks for hanging around on this list.
:-)
Paul
