I am in Tanzania and I have been working on setting up GIS systems for
districts and municipalities for various applications including cadastral
systems and property tax management. There is already enough awareness of GIS
in Tanzania and the basic cadastral parcel information in Tanga Region are in
hardcopy but well organised to give you a good starting point. Should you or
anyone need specific information on maps, GIS and Satellite images in Tanzania,
I will assist you.
