I think the South African 1:50k series is the best map set that is easily
obtainable.
Unfortunately the farm boundaries on this set is very outdated.

The RSA 1:50k set is available for free download (one sheet at a time) from
the Madmappers website, but a much better way to get the complete set, is to
order the DVDs from Madmappers.
