To those interested in IMS and Time-enabled maps with TimeMap Java
Some months ago, I needed a software or a script that allowed to
create time-enabled maps or cartographic animations.
After various searchs in the Web I've found the TimeMap Java Win, an
OpenSource software, that is a cartographic applet with the capacity
of generating time-enabled maps to be seen in a web browser. But this
software doesn't only do this. With it, you can create an IMS
(Internet Map Server) with dynamic and interactive Cartography embeded
in HTML, that can be published in Webpages, or in a CD or a DVD.
I've been working with a GIS software since 1998 and now, I can export
or link my drawings (as a SHP or MIF) and my tables (DBF and CSV) and
my raster images (GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG) created with my software in a
way that I can work them inside the TimeMap Java and build my
time-enabled maps or my my IMS at a very low cost.
If you want to learn how to do this also, I've created a training
video with the title "Learn how to use the TimeMapJava" that teaches
how to do all that.
Please, enter in http://learnhowtouse.net and see more about this in
training video. You can also visit the examples that exist in this site.
