According your popular request to test official GIS shape file
against Google Earth maps

We have got access to Census 2000 TIGER/Line® Shapefiles -
Source (http://arcdata.esri.com/data/tiger2000/tiger_download.cfm)

We have tested it against Google Earth map by using Elshayal Smart
GIS Map Editor

We have got a difference of about 20 meters or less than 1 seconds
between the Census 2000 TIGER/Line® Shapefiles and Google Earth map

The Example Map is available in Elshayal Smart GIS Users group Files
directory Etowah_AL.zip

We are looking forward to receive other countries official GIS Maps
to test them against Google Earth maps by using Elshayal Smart GIS
