The Votes Are In, Derek Santiago wins the December '08 Advanced imaging contest with his image of the Rosette Nebula & Ray Pickett wins the regular December '08 contest with his image of M42. Congratulations to Derek, Ray and all of those photographers who entered the contest! Great job guys!!

This group is for owners or potential owners of the Meade DSI line of cameras who are looking for an advanced learning environment. Our group was created by Meade4m Advisor & beta test team member Matt Taylor for the purpose of helping those who are new to the DSI line of cameras quickly and easily learn to use the Envisage software & the Meade CCD cameras to produce outstanding astrophotos. New users are welcomed here and old pros are encouraged to join in and share their knowledge and expertise.

Glenn: Thanks for the compliment re M3. I hadn't noticed the green artifacts until you mentioned it. Thanks--I removed them in PS 7 using the Healing Brush. I

Hi Bob Nice M3 cluster. I see some green and blue artifacts and wonder what is causing them.I can see many more in my own pics when not polar aligned and doing
