Try not to repeat too much. IIRC power is fed to a coaxial jack on the
RA drive, which then provides power to the DEC drive and the hand
controller.

You will want the 505 for you AC497. $25 or DIY about $5 ushing a DE-9
connector from RS and a 25' handset cable from the dollar store.

You seem to have dealt with this, but Telescope Warehouse sells the 2"
on eBay and you can then get a 2" to 1,25" adapter.

Again, you have dealt with this issue. Sell the Starfinder on eBay or
Cloudy Nights. should be able to get $35-40 for it and recoup most of
you AC497 investment.

I've got several of these and Telescope Warehouse also sells these. Save
the barrety pack power cord and connect it to a cigarette lighter plug
and you can run off a booster battery.
