For all of the owners of Meade DS-series Autostar-powered telescopes!

This is the group that has been approved by the original Meade-DS group owner, Christopher Erickson and by the original group moderator, Don Wyman.

The original Meade-DS group was killed through the actions of a hacker/troublemaker.

No spams, flames politics or religion wanted here. Solicitations to join other groups need to be pre-approved by the group moderators.

This sounds like a dirty or loose encoder. There is also the possibility that the batteries are low. While the electronics in Meade scopes are not shielded in
