I have been informed that there are now two more spammers set up to steal Yahoo
member identities in the same way as Grouply.

They are Friendster and Stumbleupon.

Beware!!!

Grouply is a disease that disguises itself as a service to Yahoo group members.

Grouply asks you to give them your Yahoo ID and password under the guise that
their group "tools" will make your life easier.

In reality, you will have given them the tools to hijack your Yahoo identity and
to spam other Yahoo group members and more, posing
as YOU.

This behavior is unacceptable in my groups.

After today, any group members who are discovered to have given their Yahoo
identity over to Grouply will be immediately banned from
all of my Yahoo groups.

Anyone who has unknowingly joined Grouply is advised to immediately unsubscribe
from Grouply and change your Yahoo password to
protect yourself from Grouply identity theft.
