Hello,
Just found and joined your group. I recently purchased a DS 2130 long
tube on craig's list and had to do a little work, it had a busted
tripod, filthy primary mirror, and the .965 eyepiece adapter. I took
it apart and sucessfully cleaned the mirror and ordered a new tripod
and 2" to 1.25" screw top for the focuser from Telescope warehouse,
excellent service by the way. I powered it up tonight and it seems to
function well, allthough in the den due to it being totally cloudy
here. So, I just wanted to say hey and I am looking forward to being
part of this group.
