With the high SPAM count and low post count the past year, i have hopefully created a solution. I had inquired about this change awhile back, but the majority of you decided to stick with this email list. Well, while i respect your opinions, the list has been quite dormant for sometime now and i beleive the SPAM is a large part of that.

With a Php type forums setting, the SPAM is 99.9% eliminated. The forums can also help keep info more accesible and easier to find archived info with the search function.

The new forums is set up on a free server, but i have relocated the original MicDIYers website to my personal site. It's a long URL, but i am not prepared to buy a domain name and webspace, until the forums gets some of it's past traffic back.

Dream Builders.....MicDIYers

For the live concert taper who likes to Do It Him/Herself.
This list is for the Do It Yourself Microphone Builder. Focused on Mini-Mics for live concert recording, But of course open to any type of Mic construction. Also open to all tapers and all formats, DAT, Analog and MiniDisc.

The list will discuss; Technical construction, Advice and tips on building techniques and parts, experiments with different types of techniques, parts, mic capsules....and of course experiences, both good, bad and learned to hard way.

The list is not limited to just Mics. PreAmps, Error Counters, Battery Packs and anything DIY related is more than welcomed.
