Shareware (* See note below)
Free Font Manager with In-built Text Graphics Editor
It has a built-in graphics editor that allows you to easily create many=
enhanced text effects and save the
resulting graphics file for the web or email use. The editor is=
surprisingly effective and produced, within
its limited range, effects as good as I can manage with Photoshop.
There isn't much documentation showing how to use the graphics editor but=
it's pretty easy to figure out
through experimentation.
Be sure to also check out the other programs available on this site

*Note The main software page indicates program is Freeware
however on information page states Shareware ($20.00).

Revert the Start menu to classic Windows style
Microsoft has designed a new two-column Start menu for its windows XP=
operating system to provide you with
quicker access to the programs and features you use most often. However, if=
you find that this new, larger Start
menu is occupying too much space, you can easily change it back to the=
classic, one-column Start menu from
previous versions of Windows.
All you need to do is right-click on the Start menu button and choose=
Properties from the shortcut menu.
Next, in the Taskbar And Start Menu Properties dialog box, select the Start=
menu tab, and then select the
Classic Start Menu option button. You'll see a preview of the classic=
Windows Start menu in the preview pane
at the top of the screen. Then, click Apply and OK, and your Start menu=
will revert back to the Start menu
you're used to in previous Windows operating systems.

Understanding MultiBooting and Booting Windows from an Extended Partition
by Dan Goodell
http://www.goodells.net/multiboot/index.htm
A personal computer normally has one operating system (OS) installed, such=
as MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows XP, etc. "Multibooting" is the process of=
installing more than one OS on a computer and selecting at startup which=
OS to use. Selection of the OS is made through a boot loader or boot=
manager when the computer first starts up, and then the selected OS boots=
up normally.
The purpose of this document is to help you understand the inner workings=
of the multiboot process. It is not a "HOW-TO" guide with step-by-step=
instructions you can blindly follow without understanding what you are=
doing. It is certainly possible to install a multibooting setup without=
understanding all this (and many people have successfully done so), but=
the information provided here is intended for the user who likes to=
understand how things work. To find step-by-step instructions elsewhere on=
the web, search google or yahoo with search terms like "dual-boot" or=
"multibooting", or see the links section for some selected multiboot=
scenarios.

Microsoft Plans New Browser Version IE7
www.theregister.com/2005/02/15/gates_rsa_2005/
RSA 2005 Information security concerns have prompted Microsoft to release a=
new version of Internet Explorer before the next version of Windows ships.=
Contrary to previous plans, Microsoft will release IE7 as a beta in "early=
summer" 2005. Longhorn, the next iteration of Windows, isdue late next=
year.
Microsoft chairman Bill Gates today said IE7 will offer Windows XP SP2=
advances in defending against phishing and malware but failed to go into=
any details. IE7 will also be included in Longhorn but its availability on=
other platforms remains unclear.
