The Mine Rescue Group is an adjunct to the United States Mine Rescue Association. The group is a forum for those engaged in mine rescue and others interested in emergency preparedness.  Since it began, more than 7,000 articles and comments covering world-wide mining events have been posted here.  We welcome everyone to join in to continue improvements in methods of saving the lives of miners and those involved in mine emergencies.
