I think you understand that I was criticizing what I see as pointless
development, when there are significantly more important
features/firmware issues to be adressed -- for example, in my opinion,
the a700 has better noise characteristics.
But then again I didn't buy the a900 (soooo close though) so I'm just in
armchair mode. :-) *petting white cat*

It's rather "OMG we missed the video/live view boat completely here,
what can we do that isn't limited by sensor/processing hardware".
