If one doesn't like one flag capture capturing adjacent flags as well,
one probably would hate the bomb rule as well. It was designed to break
a defensive position by being able to lob a bomb deep into enemy
territory and capture a square, whether or not you occupied an adjacent
square or not.

The bomb rule was not popular. As time went on and the game engine
evolved, I lost all confidence that the bomb rule would even work again
if activated. I should eliminate it from the settings and wiki just to
simplify matters.
