I tried to download DVD-WMV and what a hassle! First you have to
register to get an account, and you have to come up with a 7 character
long password that has to have 1 non-alphanumeric character in it.
After you log in, you go to the download section and you have to have an
"Invitation Key" in order to download your "free" software. This is the
sort of thing you expect for a commercial program, but for something
that is supposed to be free, I don't expect to have to jump through so
many hoops. For now, I'll stick to DVD-Decrypter, DVD Shrink and RatDVD
- none of which ask you to jump through so many hoops you feel like a
tiger in a circus.
