Job Description:

 

Interested candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an IT Production Support role.

The qualified candidate will have a passion for excellence; have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and be able to work efficiently in a cross-functional environment.

Applicant should have strong and direct experience in managing scalable UNIX servers, as well as the skills to interface with multiple teams in a corporate environment working to meet challenging goals.

We are seeking an individual who has the desire to act as a motivated self-starter and the ability to learn new skills and environments quickly while multi-tasking on more than one deliverable.

 

A big plus in skills would be GIS Sterling experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Provide support to teams and applications that provide for the exchange of business data via the suite of B2B communication tools which service the Electronic Commerce Gateway environment.

Through the use of a hands-on approach, support infrastructure applications and team initiatives.

Maintain operations, gather metrics, monitor systems and troubleshoot problems to ensure the integrity of production systems in order to meet established standards.

Plan and execute software upgrades, script enhancements and make recommendations targeted to enhance the efficiency, security and stability of the gateway environment.

Participate in the Incident Management and Problem Management processes as a resolver accountable for root cause analysis, resolution and reporting.

Ensure that all production changes are processed according to Change Management policies and procedures.

Verify that appropriate levels of Quality Assurance have been met for all new and existing products
