         Ensure systems alignment with the information lifecycle.

develop/enforce the change control process for the Enterprise Information
Architecture artifacts.
         Coordinate information/data changes that occur as part of new
development, maintenance and enhancements to ensure consistency with the
Corporate Information/Data Model.
         Lead the development and maintenance of information management
standards and conventions (e.g., naming standards, information architecture
gates in the IT development projects, etc).
         In collaboration with the Information Integration teams, define,
develop, maintain, and communicate information exchange standards that will
be used by downstream systems.
         Align Enterprise Information Architecture efforts with other
Enterprise Architecture/ Information Management counterparts to ensure
overall alignment of architecture components.
Keys to This Position:
1.  Domain knowledge:  The candidate must have a strong knowledge of the
Asset Management industry and how the business operates.  Ideally the
candidate will come from another asset management firm or a vendor like a
Charles River or similar type vendor firm.
2.  Technical skills:  The candidate will have a focus at a Lead level in
the areas of Information/Data Architecture and Integration, Data Modeling,
Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, etc.
3.  Must have strong Client Relationship and Leadership skills.  This
individual will interface with the Investment Systems team and the
Investment Data team among others.  Experience understanding Fixed Income,
Equities and Derivatives is important.
Required Skills and Competencies:
         Master's degree in software or systems engineering, computer
science, information systems management or the equivalent.
         At least 10 years progressive experience in enterprise
information/data related disciplines, i.e., data modeling, architecture and

         Proven experience in developing information architectures aligned
with information lifecycle management within financial services.
         Proven experience performing conceptual, logical and physical data
modeling with data modeling tools (Erwin/ModelMart) and database design in
complex, large-scale data environments.
         Proven experience in transactional data modeling (3NF),
dimensional modeling and object oriented modeling.  Proven experience in
developing scalable design of entities using advanced data structures (e.g.,
tall tables) is a plus.
         Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., UML,
OML, entity relationship modeling, DFDs) including the ability to create and
read the associated diagrams.
         Proven experience creating enterprise models incorporating master
and reference data.
         Experience in creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata
management approaches and governance processes.
         Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans,
Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines, software
development methodologies and strategic plans.
         Experience in developing data sharing standards and architecting
scalable service oriented solutions.
         Solid understanding of transaction and information systems, data

    As previously stated, you should take action right away if you ever find yourself terminated from your current work position. This action is patricianly important if you rely on your income to pay important bills, such as your rent or mortgage, or if you use your paycheck to help support your family. Depending on the circumstances, you will find that most states do not allow those terminated from their jobs to collect unemployment payments. This typically only happens if you are laid off. What does this mean for you? It means that means that you may need to try and find a new job right away.

    Speaking of taking action and finding a new job right away, one of your first steps should involve creating a resume for yourself. This is important, as you will need a resume to apply for new jobs. Even if you are able to fill out a traditional job application, you will still want to attach a resume. Resumes add professionalism to all job applications and they can help to set your application apart from all the rest. If you are unsure how to write your own resume, you may want to consider using the services of a professional resume writer.

    In keeping with resumes and job applications, it is important that you proceed with caution. Unfortunately, many job seekers make the mistake of including a job in which they were fired from on their job application or on their resume. However, in that same sense, many make the mistake of leaving the job that they were recently terminated from off of their resume, when it should really be on it. That sounds a little bit confusing doesnt it? If you are unsure as to how you should prepare your resume, you are not alone.

    When trying to determining how you should prepare your resume, what you need to do is examine your reasons for being terminated, as well as how long you were employed by your past employer. Many employers do not like seeing gaps over one or two years; therefore, if your last job, the one in which you were fired from, lasted over two years, you may still want to include that position on your resumes and job applications. With that in mind, you also want to use your best judgment with cases such as workplace confirmation, multiple missed work days, or theft.

    Once you have created a resume for yourself, you can start to go finding and applying for jobs. This is the easy part, as you will find that you have a number of different options. You may want to start with your local newspaper. Most newspapers have an employment section. What is nice about using your local newspaper to examine all open job positions is that most of your jobs will be local. There is typically no sorting by location needed. In addition to using your local newspaper, you can also use the internet to help you research companies with open positions.

    Once you have a collection of jobs that you would like to apply to, you will want to create a cover letter for yourself. Cover letters typically should not be developed in advance, as you will want to personalize your cover letter with the name of the position you are applying for, as well as the company you are applying at. You can create a template for yourself, but make sure each and every one of your cover letters is personalized in one way or another.

    The above mentioned steps are just a few of the steps that you should take, should you ever find yourself terminated from your current position. In dire circumstances, such as ones where you need income right away, you may want to visit your local temporary employment agency, as they can help you find short-term temporary jobs.

    Job Description
    This position serves as a functional expert, performing all functions related to the setup, documentation, business process design, implementation, and support of Oracle Applications Financial modules, with a concentration on AR, AP, GL, and Cost Acct.

    They key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
    1) Functional expertise and support for the Oracle Financial modules in a multi-org environment -  
    2) Manage implementations, upgrades, and new enhancements of the Oracle 12g financial applications. Major tasks in this category include:
    a) Utilize   project methodology to plan and execute overall projects and individual project tasks
    b) Design development and configuration strategy for new implementations
    c) Perform gap analysis between current state and desired future state
    d) Develop and execute testing and training plans
    e) Develop functional requirements for custom reports & programs and coordinate the testing, implementation, and training for these custom objects with the technical team, other functional team members, and the end-user community
    3) Create documentation for Oracle Applications Financial modules, combining business processes and application functionality, as well as training the end-user community
    4) Improve efficiency of the end-user community through analysis of existing processes & procedures and recommend cost effective changes
    5) Perform setups and execute testing scenarios in test environments to verify new functionality, patches, custom development, new implementations, and integration with external systems
