Building a network is very much similar to a spider building a web to catch
pray.
But, imagine if a spider were to sling its webbing around the way some of us
attempt to build our networks.
Mirroring how some of us build our networks, imagine a spider's thought
process:
"If I sling enough stuff all over this space, I'll have a web that can help
me catch food for my family and me. Not only will I feed my family, I'll be
a hero in their eyes. They will take pride in what I do and my children
will learn from me the guidng principle I learned from some human
networkers: To build a web to catch prey, just sling enough of this stuff
all day."
Man, I'll tell you some of the stuff I'm seeing "networkers" do is "Just
Awful Networking".
