Greetings all!
Happy to be part of the group and look forward to having you join my
linkedin network. Please contact me at Tom.armstrong@....
After all, if we're in this group, shouldn't we also share in
networking on linkedin.
I am looking forward to learning ways to effectively network to bring
value to others. The challenge I have experienced; time is so
precious, I need to focus on the most effective methods of connection
and communication.
For more experienced on-line networkers what suggestions do you have
to maintain and increase momentum in networking without becoming
consumed in the process.
Glad to be here!
Tom
A few thoughts about slow connections as brought up in another
Linkeidn discussion group.
I think that dealing with slow connections really boils down to just
2 issures:
1. Selecting the right people to ask to forward your message. By
that I mean: most of us will have multiple options when it comes to
people in our network whom we can ask to forward things. And we
should take note of whom we ask - especially for things that are
critical to our business success. Some people with smaller
networks may bog referrals down a bit because they just are not that
energized about networking - or they just don't have a feel for it,
yet. This is not to discriminate against people with smaller
networks - because on the other hand, someone with an
extraordinarily large network may also cause the referral to slow
down because they just have so many referrals to process PLUS they
have other business responsibilities as well.
2. Your message. Did you spend time thinking about constructing
your message so that there is an appropriate sense of urgency? 'I'm
aware that you're busy but I really would appreciate your helping me
to get this message to __________ within the next 2-3 days.
And the reason this time frame is important is____________."
Also, make sure that the request you're making is an appropriate one
for the person you're ultimately trying to reach.
I always want to forward as fast as possible but once in awhile
someone will send a request that just baffles me.
I don't want to hurt them with an instantaneous rejection, but I
also don't want to hurt us BOTH by making a referral that makes no
sense.
Hope this helps.

Hi again, Arnnei/Bineet,
Arnnei, you mentioned that you couldn't find Bineet on Linkedin.
One possible reason that that might be the case is that if we were
to look at Bineet's post and did a search for "Bineet Ram", indeed,
we wouldn't find him.
However, if we did a search for just "Bineet", we would find
3 "Bineets". One of whom is Bineet Ramrakha. Which, of the 3
Bineets, gives us the one closest to our Bineet, the Business &
Venture Capital Consultant, from Australia.
The principle "take away point" is this: where we see a first or
last name that is likely to yield just a small number of profiles, I
recommend keeping the search as simple as possible.

There are 2 types of Networking forums. Linked in is one type and Ecademy (www.ecademy.com) is at the other end. You'll find many in between.
I see LinkedIn as a complementary service to Ecademy. Ecademy requires a lot of your time, it is wide spread in people and professions, chatty and is more like a place to exchange ideas and get to know people. LinkedIn is very business oriented, has ten times more people and require almost nothing from you untill you seek someone or someone is seeking your support. Under the well behaved process of LinkedIn you can identify a decision maker at almost any company and present him with an opportunity in a way that otherwise you can't.
Most business people will join LinkedIn and not Ecademy (and the numbers prove it - about 50 K at Ecademy about 2,000 K at LinkedIn) because of its protective request process and because they simply don't have the time.
My strategy, is to get to know people at Ecademy (when I can spend the time) and then Linking with them to create a larger network for both and this way have a reach to more people when I need them. But it is not just me - by having a larger close network, my own contacts have access to a wider circle.
My five points (no particular order) would probably be:
1. Extend your close network - to be able to reach a wider circle. It is better to connect with existing members....
2. Get to know your contacts "on the fly". For example through their requests or by chatting at Ecademy etc.
3. Define to yourself your target organizations that you would like to do business with and search/identify decision makers from those at LinkedIn.
4. Design/Define a precise request. Half a page, no more, that will intrigue and interest your target person. Make an effort in summarizing the benefits of the collaboration. Then send the request.
5. Target more then one person at the same organization

Hi Everyone,
This is Pooja. Born and brought up in India, I recently completed my graduation (a year and a half back) from RIT, NY. However, because of some critical family issues I had to rush back home the next day after my finals and havent been able to go back to US since then.
Here in India I'm working for a multinational company, for their Marketing and Business Developement team for US . Past one year has given me wide exposure to the full business cycle from lead generation, proposal making, RFI/RFP management, negotiations, proposal presentations to deal making.
As some people in this forum, even I'm new to a networking site. Looking forward to use Linked In to grow and make a mark in the industry. How? I'm not sure yet...and that's what I'm trying to figure out.
Would also like to mention that I've a craze and passion for dance. Completed my Senior Diploma in Kathak (traditional Indian Dance) in India and while in Rochester I learnt a few Latin Dances and also won a third position in an interschool dance competion held in Rochester. That's one thing I badly miss! Anyone sharing similar interests?
Lastly, I read that someone here can even help me lose weight!!!
1. First: WELCOME!I look forward to My Linkedin Power Forum being a place for us to exchange tips and techniques about what helps us and gives us the best chances to maximize the amazing opportunity Linkedin represents for us personally, socially, and professionally.
And since the group has gotten up to a fairly decent size for a brand new group, I’d like to encourage each of you to introduce yourselves – even the shy ones out there – ESPECIALLY the shy ones – no one here will bite you! I promise! J
So, chime in without fear and introduce yourself!Tell us what drives you and your business.
2. By the way: I believe one of the richest ways for us to start this process off is to answer a question that Bob Burg has made famous via Ivan Misner’s book “Masters of Networking: *“How will I know if someone I’m talking with is a good prospect for you?”*
3. I’ll take the initiative and get things going by saying that for me, as a rabid entrepreneurial recruiter, with 17 years’ experience working for both international corporate conglomerates as well as for small mom and pop shops, you can know that you’re talking to a good prospect for me if that person is looking for a dedicated recruiter to come in and take full ownership of the staffing function - on a mutually satisfying basis (designed in a proposal that spells out specifically how we both win).Preferably they would want someone for at least a year, and preferably they would want to hire between 2 dozen to 100 professionals (depending upon area of expertise).A bit long, but if you know of someone like that… :– )
4. As a very brief reminder: this group is designed not only to be ANTI-SPAM – it is also ANTI-GREED - and FOR maximizing our financial opportunities through building our Linkedin networks – the right way.The right way is as simple as simple can be: give first – help someone else – then relax with the full faith that your bounty is on its way.My experience with this concept has me convinced 100% of the merits of this odd little piece of practical philosophy for managing life’s relationships.
I want us to consider the motto: “Greed is NOT good.At least not as good as Linkedin networking!”
So, share bountifully and you will reap bountifully!

First - I don't see that you have a problem.... you defined your request as you should - short and to the point.
There are 2 kinds of Networking forums and many between them.
Process defined networking forums. Usually the subscribers post their profiles there and don't chat much. People at those forums call on one another through a "request" process where they define their request and pass it through a chain of contacts to the target person. The target person may then accept the request and respond. LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com) is one such forum.
Open networking forums. Chatty forum with many discussions open for the members where you can post your profile but most of your networking will be done by posting messages and responding to messages in the public or private areas. Ecademy is one such forum (www.ecademy.com)
In both cases you'll find that some of these forums require payments.
When you post a request at LinkedIn it has to be very well defined. It has to be short with the immediate benefit to the other side very clear.
Don't use long sentences. By the way, you can use LinkedIn to locate jobs in your area.
Ecademy is a more active type forum. You'll be able to exercise your networking and be exposed to others' messages. I would encourage you to have a look - if not to register.
About introducing yourself.... Be confident and proud at your own achievements. Don't hesitate to tell how good you are (don't boast). Depending on the occasion start with today and go backwards. More facts less stories - again depending who you meet/chat with.
Provide personal details when you think they are needed and when that level of "intimacy" is reached - not before.

Hi, my name is Emily. I graduated college last May and currently job searching. My degree is in Information Technology with an area of concentration in Instructional Technology. I am currenly in TX, but seeking employment in Washington, DC.
My interests includes web design, desktop publishing, non-profits, education, and e-learning.
I am considered quiet, so networking is hard for me. I am trying to figure out how to start networking online. I am having a hard time knowing how to introduce myself to a contact and what types of questions to ask in a networking e-mail.
If anyone would like to connect with me one linkedin or find out more about me, my e-mail is eweinb04@...
About 2 years ago I relocated with my family to the end of the world.... Yep. To New Zealand.
After many years in the IT industry at different rolls, from working at IBM to running my own companies with my wife as a partner, we decided to take easier at the most relaxed place on earth where nature is the major asset.
I think I'll skip my Technical CV as you can find some of it at my LinkedIn profile.
Not being able to give up entirely, we started Mega AS Consulting to enjoy the fruits of our knowledge and let our innovative minds roam free.
I always wanted to be a writer. I grew up on Science Fiction (and some other good literature) so hear I started finally writing. You can find a story of mine at my Ecademy Weblog.(http://www.ecademy.com/account.php?id=50753)
To enjoy NZ nature one has to travel the land. We started a tracking club here with friends and we are tiered of it yet.
My other hobbies include - reading, music (mostly country & rock. I do enjoy classic and some of the new stuff.), playing chess with my son - when he is available... and Martial Arts (many years of practice - hurting all over....)
My activities in New Zealand include mentoring other startup companies as a free public service. I enjoy meeting new people and make use of my own contacts to support my friends and colleagues. I believe that's what friends are for....
I found LinkedIn VERY useful for me and my contacts/friends. It is a protective and focused forum that will get you where you want if your request is well put to the right person. Of course, in order to get to the right people the LinkedIn process dictates that you have to have a link to them. In other words - you have to extend your network. True, you should be wise at your selection of close contacts, but from my experience I can connect with new colleagues to extend both our networks (get the immediate benefit for me & my contacts) and then get to know my new friend through different tools - Emails, Ecademy forum, His requests etc.
That's is why I encourage my trusted friends in this forum to link with me.
To get to know me better - write to me or come to visit when you're in the neighborhood....

Sorry, I slightly misunderstood the idea of the introduction so here I
go again:
Who am I on the outside?
I'm female and live in Bristol, south west UK and have been here all my life.
Sometimes I wonder how I have managed that as everyone these days
seems to have lived all over the place. Well, Bristol is a great city
and I just seem to have always found what I need here. I have a good
network of friends all over the country and in various parts of Europe
so I do get out occasionally :-)
Who am I on the inside?
Someone who enjoys life and wants to help other people share that
enjoyment. I must admit I've had a pretty easy life with loving
parents and no real traumas for most of the time. A lot of the people
I meet through my work haven't been as fortunate as me and I want to
give them the ability to put that misfortune behind them; to keep the
lessons they've learnt but to be able to throw out the emotion that
goes with it and that can make life so stale and unpleasant.
A smile is a very precious thing both to the person who owns it and to
the people who they share it with. I would like more people to be
able to own their own smiles that they can share with others.
What do I enjoy?
Photography is a long standing hobby that I tried to make work
commercially but haven't had a lot of luck so I decided to just enjoy
it and stop wasting time promoting it. Flying model aircraft is
another hobby that I enjoy and is actually how I met my partner. I am
always inquisitive and want to learn more and experience more. That is
probably a good thing because I am quite independent so I like to be
able to do things for myself (but I think I also know when to give
up!)
Please email me if you want to know more.

Best Wishes

If someone has the ability to understand the complexity of the
problems you are confronting, to listen before telling you with a
smile on his/her face: "this is a new challenge for me but I am ready
to take it"
About me: I use Linux and open-source to make things work, with focus
on Internet and telecommunications.
Okay, a little about me ........
Briefly, I'm an IT professional back on the job market. Principal
skills are ColdFusion (web programming) and IT Support/Documentation.
I spent most of last year in Japan. Overall, the trip was a terrible
failure. But the best thing to happen was that I was introduced to
linkedin and ecademy.
It was just two months between the time when I was intro'd to
linkedin and had to leave the country (no work and ran out of money),
but it was enough to hook me to this great concept.
I'm back in Sydney now and, after I eventually find stable employment
again (always a challenge in IT), I'll be looking at ways of
expanding personal meetings based on linkedin and ecademy. True,
there are quite a few Australians on both, but it seems there's a lot
more work to be done here than in Tokyo.
Perhaps I was fortunate in that I was inducted by the dynamic Jon
Jorgensen and the hard-working Andrew Shuttleworth, and that these
two fine chaps do a lot to promote personal networking in Tokyo. I am
desperate to get something like that level of networking happening
here in Aus.
Any other Australians like to pitch in and help ? Love to hear from
you.
Good morning / afternoon / evening to you all and thank you for allowing me
to be part of this group.
As the subject suggests my name is Andrew Cardwell and I am a information
security management specialist. I am highly qualified and hold the CISSP,
CISMP, CISA and other security certifications. I've over 8 years
information security experience and have a telecoms and ISP background,
although I have worked in many areas through the various consulting firms.
I use linkedin for a number of reasons. I use it to maintain my business
connections, I use it to establish new business and industry connections and
I use it to introduce myself to people whom I find interesting and think I
can learn something from.
I am happy to help people where I can be it information security matters,
business advice or even ISP hosting services.
I have a particular interest in information security and in individuals and
companies from the Bangalore area in India but I am happy to talk to anyone
if they have something interesting to discuss.
My linkedin profile is very complete and can tell you much more about me.
Take 10 minutes to look at it and if you want to link feel free to get in
touch.
Kind regards,

I would agree with Marieke, except I'd say, "I'm not interested in your business UNTIL I know a bit about YOU.
Remember, though we want your business to be wildly successful, this forum is not so much about direct sales and marketing as it is about building and maintaining relationships. Once relations are built the proper way, sales techniques go out the window and you can focus instead on solving the problems of the friends in your network(s).
One of the major issues of the Internet today is the security and protection against phishing - Password Stealing.
We have developed a low cost, high security solution - the CAT (Cellular Authentication Token) and eAuthentication service.
The CAT is a FREE token and has no cost, and our eAuthentication service allows you to add TFA OTP (One Time Password) security level to your web site at a price of between 1.2 USA dollars to 12 cents per user per year - depending on the number of end users of your Web site that will register to the OTP security level.
If your site requires the security then why not give it a try at these prices. There are no hidden costs and no SMS or Cellular communication.
I'd also like to offer to support any of my colleagues at the Power Forum with my LinkedIn contacts.
Do not hesitate to "LinkedIn" with me and extend both our networks so we can support each other with our contacts.

I guess I may as well jump in and introduce myself. My name is Cheril
N. Clarke and I'm a 24-year-old Analyst for Data Center Operations by
day and a novelist and publisher by night, weekend, and free time in
between. Right now I’m preparing for the release of my third
novel, "Intimate Chaos" (first one published by my company, Dodi
Press). To answer the question, a good prospect for me for this
particular book would be African-American women between the ages of 21
and 40 who enjoy reading in their leisure time. To go deeper into a
niche, though this book transcends gender it would appeal the most to
African American Lesbians first.
"Clarke has done a remarkable job of sharing the story of love, that
deep down feeling which causes its host to do anything, say anything,
and put up with anything for the possibility of having that love
returned to them. As an extra bonus, though this is the story of a
lesbian relationship, the message transcends gender. Anyone who has
ever loved someone, lost them, or been the recipient of unconditional
love will be able to relate to this story." 4 Star Amazon Rating

Outside of this project I have 5 other novels and an anthology lined
up, which will keep me quite busy. My prospects/target audience will
change to a more general group as well as people who may have been in
love with or related to someone they always thought was a
little "off." After I publish the sequel to Intimate Chaos, my next
series is tentatively titled the "Sorry for Being Insane" trilogy.
Hope to read about others soon,

Who am I?
I'm a hypnotherapist, NLP and EFT practitioner. What does one of
those do? Well, I use all those titles because different people
recognise and relate to different ones. To me though how I do things
isn't the important part. It's what my client achieves that matters.
Who are my clients?
Anyone who wants to make a change in their life.
It may be someone who wants to stop smoking, lose weight or get rid of
a habit like biting their nails. Other clients want to be able to get
rid of anxiety, panic attacks, a phobia. Some people want to be able
to handle stress better and be able to relax. Others want to be able
to motivate themselves.
Who is a good prospect for me?
Anyone who uses phrases like "I could
never do that", "I wish I could do that", "I can't do that", "I've
tried everything".
I'm also interested in making contact with companies who are
interested in their employees' wellbeing as that's a good way of
making contact with a lot of people at once.
Many of my clients' first words to me are "I've tried everything else
so I thought I'd come and see you". My wish is that people would save
time and effort and come to see me first :-)
Where do I work?
I'm based in Bristol, South West UK but I can do sessions over the
phone or through Skype so location is not necessarily an issue.

1. First:
WELCOME!I look forward to My
Linkedin Power Forum being a place for us to exchange tips and techniques about
what helps us and gives us the best chances to maximize the amazing opportunity
Linkedin represents for us personally, socially, and professionally.
And since the
group has gotten up to a fairly decent size for a brand new group, I’d like to
encourage each of you to introduce yourselves – even the shy ones out there – ESPECIALLY
the shy ones – no one here will bite you! I promise! J
So, chime in
without fear and introduce yourself!Tell us what drives you and
your business.
2. By the way: I
believe one of the richest ways for us to start this process off is to answer a
question that Bob Burg has made famous via Ivan Misner’s book “Masters of
Networking: *“How will I know if someone I’m talking with is a good prospect
for you?”*
3. I’ll take the initiative and get things going by saying that for
me, as a rabid entrepreneurial recruiter, with 17 years’ experience working for
both international corporate conglomerates as well as for small mom and pop
shops, you can know that you’re talking to a good prospect for me if that
person is looking for a dedicated recruiter to come in and take full ownership of
the staffing function - on a mutually satisfying basis (designed in a proposal
that spells out specifically how we both win).Preferably they would want someone for at least a year, and
preferably they would want to hire between 2 dozen to 100 professionals (depending
upon area of expertise).A bit
long, but if you know of someone like that… :– )
4. As a very brief reminder: this group is designed not only to be ANTI-SPAM
– it is also ANTI-GREED - and FOR maximizing our financial opportunities
through building our Linkedin networks – the right way.The right way is as simple as simple
can be: give first – help someone else – then relax with the full faith that
your bounty is on its way.My experience
with this concept has me convinced 100% of the merits of this odd little piece
of practical philosophy for managing life’s relationships.
I want us to consider the motto: “Greed is NOT good.At least not as good as Linkedin
networking!”
So, share bountifully and you will reap bountifully!
I recently entered the keyword "networking" into Google. In 0.13
seconds, it returned 21,600,000 entries. Amazing! What's even more
amazing was when I entered the same search ten minutes later 200,000
additional entries were found. Countless articles and information
are available about this subject. By reviewing the latest
information, many of you are taking the first step towards learning
more about networking tools and techniques.
Remember the old saying, "It's not what you know, but who you know."
Not only does this hold true today, but there continues to be a
growing emphasis on the importance of people connections. Business,
job and people networking have become the norm, not the exception.
Baby Boomers and Generation X professionals use networking in almost
every aspect of their daily lives in order to gain greater success
in today's competitive business environment.
Networking is a powerful tool that offers the promise of impacting
our lives by opening endless people, company and information
channels. It helps us establish new business contacts, locate and
land challenging career positions and interact with people who have
common interests and goals. As a young adult seeking my first job,
it took a while to understand the very simple premise that people
know people. Twenty-some years later, I realize the potential for
using this new found tool for seeking advice, information,
recommendations, referrals and support.
Not long ago, mention the word networking and most people either
didn't understand what you meant, or those with a technical
background thought of a computer network. Today, most people
understand the term in a general sense, however do they really
understand the process, benefits and dynamics that link people
together?
Don't assume everyone understands what you mean by networking.
Lillian Bjorseth, author of "Breakthrough Networking: Building
Relationships That Last," said most people fail at networking
because they don't really understand what it is. "Networking is not
a personal platform for you to tell people how wonderful you are,"
said Bjorseth. "It's a dynamic process that links people into
mutually beneficial relationships." A key success factor for
effective communication is establishing a common understanding of
terms, goals and expectations. Once established, you are better
positioned to target specific goals and objectives. Many job seekers
know from experience that the average person assumes you are seeking
only contacts that have job openings. Based on this assumption, it's
easy for them to simply say, 'I don't know anyone who is hiring
right now.' By educating new acquaintances first, you will not only
avoid this problem, but open their minds to exploring a much broader
group of resources.
Without getting into the "dos & don'ts"…a list of important
things
to keep in mind:
· Explain networking in simple terms including your goals and
how it benefits all parties.
· Assure contacts that you understand they are busy and value
their time.
· Provide an option to meet or have a phone conversation.
· Explain that your focus is to develop a two-way exchange of
information that is mutually valuable:
· Ask about their job, company and latest challenges, hobbies,
what they excel at and listen for ways that you can help
them.
· Find ways to give back to your contacts through interesting
and informative articles, referrals that might assist their
business, scheduled events or even social or hobby
information.
· Be a courteous communicator, and always express your
appreciation for assistance.
· Good relationships take time to develop; they don't happen
overnight.
Building a diverse network with an eye toward the future, including
different business sectors, job responsibilities, cultures and
geographic locations will provide a more comprehensive group of
resources. Allow yourself time to establish relationships based upon
trust, common values, interests and goals. Use your contacts
effectively and recognize that each one is different and each group
must be approached uniquely.
Types of Contacts
Your contacts will typically fit into three groups: (1) people you
know, or warm contacts, (2) those referred to you by a business or
personal contact or referral and (3) people you do not know, cold
contacts. Warm contacts should not be taken for granted. Ongoing
exchanges of information with warm contacts may be easy for you, but
ask yourself if you are achieving your goals. Your closest friends,
business associates and co-workers may provide ongoing support,
advice and information, but may not necessarily be your strongest or
best resources. Referrals can be introduced in person, by phone call
or via e-mail. Remember that someone thought enough of you to
provide a referral, so treat both individuals with professionalism
and respect. Find a common thread when working with cold contacts to
help you open the door or perk their interest. Use something you
know about their company, a person they know, an association they
belong to or an article you read that might apply to them. Don't
under estimate the potential of anyone. You will be pleasantly
surprised, if you make the effort to establish a relationship. Don't
become so wrapped up in developing your own network, that you
overlook the benefit of providing referrals to your contacts.
Persistence
Accepting rejection and maintaining a positive and persistent
approach are key to your success. Not everyone will have the time,
energy or desire to talk with you. Set a time table for yourself
that includes follow up calls and e-mails. If you fail to receive a
response by the end of your defined period, move on and concentrate
on those people who are receptive to talking or meeting. Cultivating
and developing good working relationships takes time, patience and
the right touch of persistence. Each person has unique values,
which, when combined with your overall group, form a strong
alliance.
Research is a very important part of developing your network.
Gaining information about companies, people, products and trends all
require research. Google, www.google.com is one of many excellent
tools for fulfilling your research requirements. Many times you will
find limited company information, but you will be able to identify
names of the management team or decision makers. By entering a very
simple search using Google, you can locate every occurrence of
specific companies and potentially a broad range of information
valuable to your research. First, identify the company website,
example: Sears Roebuck & Company is www.sears.com. Enter the
following search "@sears.com" into the Google search field. The
information returned from this search will provide company
information, articles, personal e-mail addresses of employees and
many other sources of valuable information. One of the most valuable
pieces of information you may find are employee e-mail addresses.
Using the e-mail format, you can now e-mail decision makers and
people who might be able to assist you within specific companies.
The influence of people who know people increases our ability to
lend assistance to friends and colleagues, leverage the expansive
community of resources available and help us become more successful.
Every individual has their own style of working, socializing and
getting through their daily life tasks. Develop a networking style
that recognizes your individual strengths, weaknesses and purpose.

Top 7 Things You Need to Know About Business and Social
Networking
By
Vincent Wright
1. N – Network – No network, no gain.Positively
said: The better your network, the greater your gain.Networking is networking – online or off, entrepreneur or
warehouse worker, doctor, lawyer, student, teacher, child, or grandparent – to
advance from where you are to where you want to go, you need help and the best
help you can get on earth is the hands of others. To get their hands, you need to network with them.
2. E – Energy – To network with people, you need to put some energy into your
networking.Put twice as much energy into
your networking as you want to get out of it.Energy makes you shine. If you
don’t let your light shine, no one will notice you.If no one notices you, you can’t network. If you can’t network, you can’t get their
hands.Show people that you and your
light are present and available to help them GET MORE!
3. T – Thoughtfulness – THINK of others!There
is no getting around the great importance of thinking of others. What good is a networker who doesn’t think
of others? What do they need? When do they need it?Where do they need help? How much help do they need? What else do they need?If you can’t give them what they need at the
time that they need it, what else can you give them instead?A referral?A lead? Guidance?
4. W – Work – Ok.So, you’ve done all
the right things in growing your network. You’ve thought about people you know and the people they know, you’ve
considered that people in networks want to connect with you, they want your
energy, and you’ve started assembling your network. But, there’s still the most important thing to excel at:
WORK.Your WORK must be EXCELLENT! (Not
perfect.Just EXCELLENT!You’re networking because you can’t be
perfect and because you want to be excellent in some area of your life.)
5. O – Organize – Organize your work, your network, and your networking. How can a network of people be sustained
without it and you being organized? It
can’t!Not for long, anyway.Organization is the key to reducing the
stress of life.If you’re not organized,
network with someone who can help you in this area, too.
6. R – Recruit – Very few people know what the word “recruit” actually
means. But what it means is of
TREMENDOUS value to you: “To nourish the core”.If you’re weak, stressed, empty, broke, un-centered,
inexperienced, or aging, YOU MUST LEARN HOW TO RECRUIT PEOPLE TO
HELP YOU!
7. K – Knowledge – Keep adding value to your knowledge by keeping your knowledge
current, up to date. Who wants information that’s stale, disorganized,
incomplete, ill-informed, or poorly formed.Read stuff.Learn stuff.Shape stuff.Share stuff with LOTS of other people in your NETWORK.
