Welcome to the Mysterious Creatures Discussion Group. This group focuses on animals that are undiscovered or unrecognised by science. The creatures discussed include, The Loch Ness Monster, Champ, Caddy, Ogopogo, Sasquatch, Mothman, Mokele – mbembe, the yeti and many more. Also included in this is the recently discovered Homo florensis and the fierce debate surrounding its identity. Animals that are thought to be extinct but there continue to be sightings, such as the Thylacine, will also be discussed here.

There is an extensive link section that I will try to continuously update. Then you can find the right place to go for more information on any cryptid that you have a particular interest in.

I am trying to generate an interest in this group like there used to be, so please check back often for any updates. There is now a cryptid directory in the database section, which has basic information on several creatures. If anybody has a website and could promote the group I would be grateful.

Feel free to post messages about any aspect of cryptozoology. All ideas and opinions are respected. Any suggestions on how this group can be improved are also welcome as is any help with generating discussion.
