question about Askia Vista.   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #81 of 164 |

A colleague mentions, “Briefly, ASKIA is fully seamless from QUANTUM, this is the reason why lost of companies are adopting it (using .PKD or even Dimension), even for multi level files (ask Scott)”    It looks like they want to buy quite a few licenses….

Is anyone out there using Askia’s product Askia Vista (a web based cross tab package)?

Sounds like maybe the Askia stuff opens Quanvert files (he mentions PKD) rather than quantum jobs directly?

The equivalent would be the Quanvert DSC, of course, although there’s also the Punch DSC to read in Quantum datasets.

It seems unlikely that Askia are actually parsing Quantum specs?  Or is there something that I don’t know?

Any issues with Askia Vista?  How does this compare to the SPSS product Reporter?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

-David
