About the Speakers Jimmy Chen, CEO and Chairman, GotoBus.com Jimmy
(Xiangping) Chen founded IvyMedia Corporation aka GotoBus.com in the
Summer of 2000 with the mission of providing affordable and easy-to-use
solutions for e-commerce and content management. Since then GotoBus.com
has become the leading online bus ticketing service provider and was
named Best of the Web by Washington Post in February 2007. Before
founding IvyMedia Corporation/GotoBus.com, Jimmy held various software
development and management positions at PTC and SolidWorks. He is also
active in computer science research and his publications (eg. CAD Vol
27.9, ISBN:0-89791-672-7, CAD Vol 27.12 and CAD Vol 28.1) were well
received in the Computer Aided Design research community. Jimmy has a
Ph.D. from Computer Science at Purdue University; a Master's and a
Bachelor's from Zhejiang University.
Coach Wei, CEO, Yottaa Inc. and Chairman, Nexaweb Technologies, Inc. Coach
is CEO of Yottaa Inc. He is also Chairman of Nexaweb technologies, an
Enterprise Web 2.0 software company he founded in 2000. He served a
variety of roles at Nexaweb including CEO, VP Engineering, CTO and
marketing from 2000 to 2008. Before Nexaweb, Coach designed software
for managing storage networks at EMC Corporation. He is a frequent
speaker at industry events and has many publications on various
technical journals. Coach obtained his master's degree from MIT, holds
six patents and maintains a blog on startups, web 2.0 technologies and
entrepreneurship at http://www.coachwei.com.
