NECINA values our officers’ time to serve the community, we want to grow our officers and volunteers with a series of Leadership and Career Development workshops.  The NECINA leadership and career workshops are targeted to help us to review our career from a different angle and compile the essential owner’s manual. Come to share your insight and stories with our speakers with years of experience in recruiting and corporate career training. We will discuss detailed questions you have in career development and job searching by combining personal accounts and career patterns. Let’s explore and identify tangible steps we can take to propel ourselves from good performance to career advancement together.  

After this session, you would have opportunities to participate in the planning discussion and  learn key operational basics of NECINA with hands-on coaching from a senior officer.  You can also form the relationship and gain support from your mentor at NECINA. Working with Recruiters and Headhunters

Mr. Thyaga started WizioTec in 2003. His company is a reputed technology talent search company located in MA. He has more than 16 years of hands-on technology and business experience. With his strong background in software product engineering and enterprise application development, he has earned the respect of engineers, managers and customers. Prior to WizioTec, he was involved in design, architecture and development of world class enterprise software products. He worked as an architect at RulesPower (a rule-based BPMS product startup purchased by Fair Isaac) and Plexus/BancTec (an enterprise workflow and document management product company). With his work experience from the US, UK, Japan, Far-east and India he has a strong understanding of global work cultures. Thyaga is also an angel investor and a technology start-up mentor. He is associated with several businesses in the US and India. Thyaga holds BS in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore University.

How to Influence People at Work

Ms. Ru Zheng, General Manager, NECINA

Ru Zheng is an energetic and versatile professional with international and domestic experience in Communication and Leadership Training and Development, Global Strategic Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Global Business Development, and Business/IT strategy alignment. Her cross-functional leadership experience including domestic & International roles in fortune 500, dealing with international and local government agencies, providing start-up/turnaround companies advices in terms of marketing strategy & implementation.   Currently as a strategic planning analyst in H&V, a private global manufacturing company, she provides financial advices to key Business Unit general managers and VPs.  After getting her MBA in US, she hold multiple marketing roles in Gillette and operational roles in Mello Financial Corporation, then she spent around 6 years in Boston Scientific Corporation and supported their Global Strategic Sourcing Strategy formulation and supply based rationalization process. Ru is also a certified Dale Carnegie Trainer specialized in Communication and Leadership Training and Development.
