The purpose of the National Federation of Biological Recording's LRC group is:

To provide a discussion forum for all Local Records Centre staff in the UK

To distribute news from sources such as the National Federation of Biological Recording, National Biodiversity Network and regional LRC groups.

To distribute and gain feedback on policies, questionnaires etc that are relevant to LRCs.

Membership is restricted to LRC staff who are members of the NFBR
