Penny,
If you can post messages you can see the photos.
Just go to the left of the page, click on Photos and you will get all the albums
in storage. Then select the album you want to look at. In this case "Amanita?"

caution: If you're even thinking of eating it, DON'T! Even if it IS Amanita
rubescens (which many field guides say is edible), there are too many close
lookalikes growing in the northeast that are deadly poisonous to take that
chance. If more come out, try photographing as close to the base as you can and
try bruising the base and stem to see if there's any color reaction. Post those
photos and I'll take another look.
