Tomorrow at 6:00 pm at the Williamson County Extension Office, 3151 SE Innerloop
Road, Suite A, Georgetown Kim Bacon, a Capital Area Master Naturalist will be
presenting a program on Native Bees and how important they are to American
gardeners. Kim will discuss the different lifestyles of Texas' native bees, the
role Texas Bee Watchers have in native bee research, and how gardeners and
naturalists can attract native bees to their landscapes. She will discuss simple
additions that can be done to encourage the pollinators to reside in gardens and
native landscapes.
