Here's hoping summer has treated you well.

We have a need to fill vacancies in the Standing Committees-the Nominating
Committee (6 members) and the Bylaws & Resolutions Committee (5 members). It's
been a while since we've made appointments and I'd like to get these back on
track. So, your help is needed on these and the level of effort during the year
is minimal. All I need are people with an interest in the business of NSCSS and
a commitment to show up at the annual meetings (at least some of them!). Tenure
will range from 1 to 5 years, depending on the committee. If you're interested
in participating, please let Mary Reed and myself know as soon as possible. If
you believe you are already on one of these committees, please let me know when
your tenure began.
