I too am tired of paying extreme dollars for health insurance through
my individual plan and am going to secure it through another
orgaization I belong to (National Onsite Wastewater Recycling
Association - NOWRA (http://nowra.org). If interested, and your soil
science work is either in onsite sewage disposal systems or stormwater
management, you can join that organization through your local
affliate, by paying one set of dues for both. I know Ohio has an
active grounp but am not sure about those that live in other states.
