Complete Lunar Eclipse CD From Deborah

I have finished the Lunar Eclipse CD and have now pilot tested it in some
junior high school classes where I teach. Both the students and teachers
thought it was fantastic. I've also added in some more advanced slides so
it would still be very suitable for astronomical society talks etc.

If there are any other individuals or societies who would like a copy, I
am asking for donation of $10 which includes the postage and materials. I
would be very happy for you to make copies to distribute around your local
schools. Please send me your name and address if you would like a copy, so
I can get the last copies mailed out to you this weekend. I will see if
it is possible and permissable to upload the information onto the
education section of the website, in which case you can direct educational
users to download it on an honest basis for free (see below).

The CD includes:
- Many Lunar eclipse animations
- Lunar & solar eclipse diagrams explaining the differences
- Pictures and diagrams of penumbral, partial and total eclipses
- Moonlight Sonata background music - optional
- Question and answer handouts suitable for school age - adults on lunar
and solar eclipses
& a copy of the Celestron catalogue

I'm pretty pleased with the results - lots of photographic videos and
scale animations of the eclipse, as well as simple explanations. It also
has loads of awesome pictures at the end (for which I've obtained
permission), which will be useful in case anyone gets clouded out on the
night and wants something to show as a back-up. At the end, I've included
a further information section with details about the moon from my
interactive Solar System adult education course.

In the next week I will be distributing the CDs free of charge around the
local schools to help with teaching about astronomy and in order to
publicise the event.

Thanks for your support!

Deborah
