Special interest in creating this egroup originates from a sincere desire to further the Nakamichi legacy of excellently designed and manufactured analogue audio cassette deck components. Of course, there is more to the Nakamichi legacy as a whole, well beyond cassette deck technologies, beginning in the 1950s, robustly evolving in the 1970s, cresting in the 1980s, and continuing through the 1990s; magnificient analogue and digital cassette decks, analyzers, tuners, preamplifiers, amplifiers, and an assortment of mobile audio components.
