Jott is super for sending notes to yourself and/or to others by calling (in
my case by cell phone to) the Jott service to record a voice message. Jott
transcribes the voice message and the resulting text is emailed along with a
audio file with the voice recording.

I surmise that they make some money off of the revenue they derive from
calls made by long distance to their number.
