I am a professional translator. I translate from French, German, Dutch and
Greek into English, and also edit texts written in English by non-native
English speakers. I am also conversant with html. If you would like me to
help out with translation/editing of contributions, I suggest you send me
one file at a time (preferably a character-based file, but an image file of
paper/fax submissions if no character-based file can be obtained), together
with any contextual information you have (Who wrote the text (name, e-mail
address)? Where was it published (e.g. newspaper title, date, page number)?
Does the group concerned have a web site? What are you going to do with the
translated article?), and an indication of the format you would like the
translation in (Word97, RTF, text, html) if not the same as the original. I
will try to find time to fit this in to my busy schedule.
