If you haven't started looking at Mars, nows the time. It isn't going
to be super big this time around, but you can see some details on it
even at that.

Here's a drawing I made of what I saw last evening. I viewed with my 6
inch f/10 Planetary DOB at about 250x. I realize I don't show much
detail on this one, but after the viewing I checked maps and found
that the side current is a little bland.

Some more interesting stuff is coming up, get out there and brave the
cold. (Easy for me to say, I live in a desert).

Darn, I wasn't able to get to your image. I'm having similar problems. What I see are vary faint details, can't really get good shapes for them. It's clouding...
