RE: [NewtonianReflector] 0.965 laser collimator

I have not seen any for sale but I machined a couple of
adapters that allowed me to use standard 5mw green laser
pointers and when combined with some quality step-up
adapters, allowed me to use one laser with any size
focuser up to 2".

However honestly, I have never used them to collimate a
scope with a .965" focus tube.

If you really need one, I would be willing to sell one
of my 5mw green laser pointers with collimatible .965"
nose piece and Orion .965" to 1.25" adapter for $100.

... I would strongly recommend against using a "green" laser for collimating any telescope. The power output is too high and you are risking an inevitable...
