Description

A group devoted to the discussion of the Celestron NexStar 4 GOTO telescope. The NexStar 4 is the only Maksutov-Cassegranian astronomical telescope that bears the Celestron name. It is a highly portable, computer controlled instrument that delivers refractor-quality images at a price that is very affordable.

There are a number of groups on Yahoo that discuss NexStar telescopes. The NexStar 4 group is unique in that discussion is focused on the NexStar 4.

In the photo at the left, the images of Saturn, Jupiter, M57, and M27 are courtesy of Stephane Poirier of France. All were taken with a NexStar 4.
