Thanks I will make a note of your tip.. I will try both 1/500 and
1/250 and see what happens with both,just to test things out. I live
not too far from the terminal here on Bainbridge island. And you'll
laugh, the first time I saw the bicyclist coming down the main street
here, I had to remind myself they were coming off the ferry. There
were so many of them. I'll look into obtaining the suggested lenses as
well.

Steve, I would start at about 1/350/250 and adjust from there, you need to keep a balance between a slow enough speed to get motion blur and not getting camera...
