My 128MB card makes my camera take longer to start up too. Faster card may help, but I think the camera scans the whole card on sart up, so larger cards take...

Mel, I can't answer for the P2. However I have a CP4500 and it uses the ENEL battery. And it does indeed have an adapter for my Auto. Check the battery...
