Hi Vb,
I'm fairly sure that the repair manual for the D1X will have the pin outs you
require.


The folks at Nikon might shudder, but I always found that I could just dial-down
the exposure to "bulb" and then vacuum clean the sensor
(without touching it) merely causing air to flow over it at a high speed and be
then removed from the camera.

I found this technique to be very effective, and seldom required...I also liked
the fact that nothing but air touched the sensor.

This wont fix some cleaning problems, but for the occasional dust mote, it's
worth a thought.

Hi vb, I and others do it a different way... Although it is recommended in the manual to only clean the sensor while the camera is connected to a mains adapter...
