I have 2 Coolpix L18 cameras with the rear screen damaged. What is the best
route to have them repaired? I am pretty technically proficient so if it isn't
an extremely difficult repair, could I just purchase the screen myself from
somewhere?

My wife and I purchased one of these cameras for our daughter for a graduation
present. It lasted about 4 months before she broke the screen (shoved it into
her purse without first putting it into its padded carrying case!). She
purchased a replacement camera because she was going on a trip. It took only 3
months before she broke this screen (still don't have a straight answer on how
that happened as she is probably to embarrassed to tell me!).

This is an awesome camera and would like to have at least one of them repaired
to use as a quick point and shoot camera so I don't have to lug my D60 and all
its accessories around all the time.
