Online Communications Associate

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Update website and send out weekly e-newsletter;
* Grow organization's online presence on third party sites like
facebook, change.org, and youtube;
* Develop strategies for increasing web traffic, e-newsletter
subscriptions and online donations;
* Design and layout for quarterly print newsletter;
* Reach out to the blogger community to gain exposure for
organization;
* Produce monthly web traffic reports using Google Analytics;
* Create and design banner ads;
* Develop online multimedia presentations


Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:

* 2-3 years of professional web development and online marketing
experience;
* Demonstrated proficiency with Convio and GetActive web platforms
and ability to deliver targeted e-Appeals and content;
* Proficiency with HTML and Dreamweaver as well as web graphics
programs like Fireworks/Illustrator and Adobe Flash;
* Understanding of web metrics;
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills;
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities;
* Excellent team skills but capable of working independently and
being self-motivated;
* Proficiency in Quark
