ever tech out with, is hiring an Online Coordinator or rather
Coordinator of Awesomeness. Rad Campaign is deeply committed to
organizations that want to change the world and socially responsible
businesses that want to claim their corner of it. We fight to conserve
America's national forests and wildlife. We educate the public about
becoming conscious consumers and why purchasing green, socially
responsible products are better for the planet and our health. We
mobilize women and families to lobby congress about securing funding
to find out what causes breast cancer and much, much more. Our clients
range from the Save Darfur Coalition, Alaska Wilderness League, George
Washington School of Political Management, American Immigration Law
Foundation, American Rights at Work, SEIU of Illinois, etc.
Responsibilities:
Contribute and assist in online strategic planning for websites,
online advocacy campaigns, online fundraising, and recruitment.
Help develop hard-hitting online ad and online marketing campaigns and
work with designers to execute creative.
Analyze data and metrics.
Draft reports for clients.
Assist with earned media, social networking, and online marketing and outreach.
Update client websites using content management systems.
Assist clients with technical issues.
You Should Be Awesomely Rad And:
Super creative with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and
think quick on your feet.
Love managing projects.
Have 2 years professional experience working with nonprofits in online
strategy, online advocacy, online marketing or online fundraising.
Have experience updating websites and using content management systems
(Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, etc) and constituent relationship
management systems (DIA, Convio, BSD, etc).
Have HTML/CSS skills with a strong interest in Internet technology.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have a solid understanding of online social networking and how
nonprofits can utilize them to build their brand.
Be a team player, but also a self-starter who can work independently.
Likes to work hard but have fun while doing it.
Want to make a difference in the world.
Experience with web design, Adobe Photoshop and Flash is extra cool
(like with a cherry and sprinkles on top cool).
The is an entry level half time position to start with plus benefits
and will grow into a FT position. It’s based in DC. You should be
comfortable working virtually as well as in the office, which is also
