Save the Children, the leading independent organization creating real

seeks an Associate Director, Technical Support to supervise and manage
all aspects of PC technical support, including home office (WWO) support
staff, for both home and field offices pertaining to PC related hardware
and software. The person also responds to, troubleshoots and resolves
all types of technical support calls/issues, along with acting as the
liaison between the PC support and networking teams. This position is
equally responsible for purchasing and, maintaining an accurate
inventory of all PC related equipment and software, to include tracking
licenses and maintenance agreements.
Candidates considered will have a minimum of three years technical
supervisory experience and a minimum of 8 years of PC and PC related
hands on technical experience. Degree in a relevant discipline or the
equivalent business experience required. Must demonstrate strong
management and technical skills in PC and PC related technology.
Extensive knowledge of the PC marketplace, current pricing and
technology required. Excellent organizational and problem solving
skills required. Must demonstrate great knowledge of, and experience
with, asset and support call tracking systems as well as, inventory
management. Must have experience in all phases of PC troubleshooting,
problem determination and supporting users. PC training experience and
skills also required.
