Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Web Developer with the ability to
design and build web applications. The ideal candidate will have
experience being part of a team developing business and
consumer-oriented online applications in PHP environments. The Web
Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a number
of existing proprietary web applications and websites while also
taking a lead in the development of a number of new development

We seek candidates with strong a work ethic, the ability to work both
in team and solo environments and someone who has an eager desire to
learn new skills. They will be passionate about their work and be
motivated by the opportunity to build great applications that solve
real social problems. The position will require a unique combination
of business understanding, technical knowledge and people skills.

Candidate must be able to submit portfolio of prior development work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance and enhancement of a number of company websites
• Maintenance and support of a number of proprietary web applications
• Ability to design, build and implement new web applications
• Add creative input to existing projects
• Communicate project scope, timeframe and progress to staff
• Assist in maintaining and securing web servers
Qualifications:
• Must have 4+ years advanced experience with PHP on medium to large
scale successfully deployed projects
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with MS SQL 2000/5 or MySQL
• Experience configuring and maintaining IIS 5.0/6.0
• Solid HTML/CSS coding
• Intermediate JavaScript experience
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Personal Skills Required:
• Must be hard working, able to multitask, manage and troubleshoot
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Possess good time management/organization skills necessary to assist
in developing IT processes/procedures and to manage own work queue,
perform escalations, and assist in team projects.
