Care about making the world a better place?

Want to make sure there IS a world for future generations?

Enjoy organizing and working in a campaign-style environment?

Believe in environmental advocacy and service?

Want to be a part of history?

The 40th Anniversary of Earth Day is next year & we're creating a
campaign to use the power of Earth Day to engage citizens globally
toward environmental advocacy and service, with some celebration
thrown in at the end...  the first Earth Day in 1970 is widely seen as
the kick off to the modern environmental movement in the US & now more
than a billion people globally participate.  In fact, it's the most
widely observed secular holiday in the world.  Using this significant

milestone, we believe there is an unprecedented opportunity to
organize the global population in an effort to stop global warming,
fight climate change and build a green future.

Earth Day Network (EDN) network reaches over 17,000 organizations in
174 countries, while the domestic program engages 5,000 groups and
over 25,000 educators coordinating millions of community development
and environmental protection activities throughout the year. Our

mission is to grow and diversify the environmental movement worldwide,
and to mobilize it as the most effective vehicle for promoting a
healthy, sustainable planet. We pursue our mission through education,
politics, events, and consumer activism.

We could use the help of some hard-working, creative, energetic,
enthusiastic, world-changing individuals to join us in the 40th
