Subject: [progressiveexchange] someone to do InDesign production layout
To: Progressive Exchange <Discuss@...>
Hi guys,
Sorry, slightly off topic, but... we're looking for someone very
detail oriented who has and is quite familiar with Adobe InDesign to
do production lay out for our Field Guide to Software for Nonprofits
(it's about an 80-page book). Â We have an overall graphic design
already, but are looking for someone to do the sizable task of copy,
pasting, and formatting text into our (fairly complicated) layout,
using InDesign styles (like paragraph and object styles) to create a
very clean and well  constructed InDesign file.
Graphic design expertise isn't necessary, but would be a bonus (to be
able to help solve graphic design challenges in the layout). Â It'll be
a nice portfolio piece (FreeRange did the original graphic design).
We're hoping to find someone at a production rate (like $15-$20/hr),
but would consider more if needed. Â Someone driving distance to
Portland, MAINE would be great, but isn't necessary.
We produce 4+ reports a year, so have this type of work on an ongoing
basis, and would love to form a continuing relationship.
Drop me an email if you know someone, or are interested yourself...
Thanks!
Laura
