Biodiesel Fuel Making and Equipment Build Workshop

Equipment building portion of class: if you'd like, you can build a
biodiesel processor and wash tank to take home. For an example of the

Students wanting to make their own equipment will need to supply a new
or used electric water heater ($200ish new at OSH), and $180 paid to
instructor for plumbing parts. Plumbing parts money should be pre-paid 1
week before class time, and you should be prepared to take your
processor home on Sunday after class as there's no storage room at the
class site. Instructor will supply a 55-gallon wash tank barrel for
you- be sure you can fit these two large items in your vehicle after
class. You also have the option of only buying the plumbing, and
building just the plumbing/wiring assemblies in class without having to
bring a tank- you'll be able to install it onto your own tank at home
later with a few basic tools.
