I don't know if there any more active users of this group. We were quite active
for a while, and it was a good resource.  I'd love to see that return.

Hoping there are active users, I have a question for Internet Entrepreneurs
whose business is conducted via a website of any kind- storefront, social
network, etc. - anything where your customers or potential customers are also
your site visitors.

I am developing a web survey application for people to use on their own site
specifically to solicit feedback from their visitors. The big question is what
kind of pricing structure makes the most sense for such a tool? I am considering
three possibilities:
1. A simple monthly subscription in which customers pay per month and they can
create unlimited surveys in that period.
2. A per survey model in which customers pay $x for a survey and then $y per
question.
3. And a single rate per period model in which customers pay $x for one month,
$y for 3 months, or $z for 6 months, and can create as many surveys over that
time as they need.
I'd like to hear which you would prefer as a customer given the number of
surveys you might want on your site over what period of time, the depth of those
surveys (number of questions), and the length of time you'd expect to want the
data available.

I'm in the very early stages of getting a web application-based startup up and
running. Very early.

or communication problems that result in over-budgets or scheduling hassles?

3. And lastly, We have found a few companies in and out of the US, but we are
looking for more options. If anyone can recommend anyone with whom they have
success, I would be grateful. We are planning on a PHP/MyQSL platform, and will
want Facebook, MySpace, WordPress, and Blogger experience, as well as jQuery,
and AJAX interactions.
